Lean Healthcare Black Belt Program

The Lean Healthcare Black Belt online program provides participants with a practical application of advanced Lean Healthcare tools and techniques, as well as developing the appropriate process improvement, leadership and project/program management skills to drive the changes that are necessary for a successful Lean Healthcare transformation. The program is typically completed in 6 months. 

The Lean Healthcare Black Belt certification program and accompanying process delivers an immediate return on investment through a workplace improvement project requirement – over the past 5 years the average savings from Black Belt projects is in excess of $1.7m per student. It has been​ custom built for the entire health sector, including real world examples and health sector case studies.

Completion entitles certified Canadian College of Health Leaders members (CHE / Fellow) to 10 Category II credits towards their maintenance of certification requirement.

Mentoring

Full online mentoring support for participants is provided throughout the program. 

Assessment and Certification

Participants are assessed based on completing a facility-based workplace improvement project and four module assignments. Successful completion provides a Lean Healthcare Black Belt certificate from Leading Edge Group.
