The Lean Healthcare Black Belt online program provides participants with a practical application of advanced Lean Healthcare tools and techniques, as well as developing the appropriate process improvement, leadership and project/program management skills to drive the changes that are necessary for a successful Lean Healthcare transformation. The program is typically completed in 6 months.  The Lean Healthcare Black Belt certification program and accompanying process delivers an immediate return on investment through a workplace improvement project requirement – over the past 5 years the average savings from Black Belt projects is in excess of $1.7m per student. In addition to understanding the core Lean concepts, tools and practices, participants will gain the capability and skills to facilitate improvement initiatives. The program has been​ custom built for the entire health sector, including real world examples and health sector case studies and is typically completed in 13 weeks.  Participants can achieve an immediate return on investment and benefit through a workplace improvement project requirement. Completion provides 35 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours and entitles certified Canadian College of Health Leaders members (CHE / Fellow) to 10 Category II credits towards their maintenance of certification requirement.
